Staggered block edges work in conjunction with tie-bars in the outboard shoulder to help minimize airborne noise that can emit from the pattern’s off-road features, while also helping support the footprint under load for consistent handling and predictable steering response. Aggressive shoulder and sidewall features enhance loose-surface grip and help protect the upper sidewall area from abrasions and cuts in extreme off-road conditions. Multi-directional grooves and sipes make up a network of biting edges for dynamic traction capabilities, working in combination with additional block edges to produce light snow traction that meets the tire industry’s severe snow service requirements.
